Today in an antique/junk store in Tucscon AZ I found a pamphlet entitled "facts about FALLOUT protection" published in 1958. It explains in simple terms that it is in fact very easy to survive a nuclear explosion by having a quaint little bomb shelter with 3 to 4 foot walls of earth. With a few supplies and that shallow basement you and your family will be sheltered from all radio activity and the impact of a nuclear blast! Fun! The pictures are fodder for some show fliers, I'm afraid. Your finds are fantastic. It inspired me to share mine. -Sam (at spun)
